Pointer Dog Bronze Car Mascot / Hood Ornament. French, Circa. 1930

A very high quality 1930's French cast bronze hood ornament in the form of a Pointer dog.  Finely sculpted and cast with a superb rich patina.  Signed 'Duges' at the rear and mounted to a large 3'' diameter radiator cap.   In excellent condition, this hood ornament has impeccable provenance coming from the private collection of a very well respected collector of pre-war European cars and the owner of a number of Pebble Beach winning automobiles.
