A cast bronze car mascot in the form of a monkey playing a guitar by Eugene Rene Arsal.  French Circa. 1925

This is one of the best and most unusual mascots we have seen.  The glass sphere within the guitar body is a light bulb which would illuminate when the cars lights were switched on, this no doubt made a superb spectacle.  The base is signed E. Arsal, Eugene Renee Arsal 1884-1972 was a member of the Societe des Artistes Francais and a sculptor of some renown.   

Dimensions 5-1/2'' tall including cap.
